‘10 for 10‘ has fast become a nickname for our comedy shows: ‘10 Comedians for $10‘.

Our first ’10 for 10′ show was performed as part of the Sydney Fringe Festival in September, 2015 and it sold out online before it even opened.

As comedy fans ourselves, we know the disappointment of spending between 25 and 80 dollars (or more) to go to a comedy night and not having a good laugh.  Then you have to pay for transport, parking, dinner, drinks, babysitting and it’s an insanely expensive night out for not a  lot of fun.  We were aware that many people may go to shows like these and think that, because of the ticket prices, this is the best of what’s on offer in comedy at the moment.  Those people then stay away from live comedy for a long time and miss out on what’s really happening in Australian stand-up comedy.

To provide an alternative, we organised a group of great, diverse group of  comedians to put together our ’10 for 10′ shows.  These are all experienced comedians who can all charge a lot more than $10 for their own shows but who want to help provide an affordable, quality comedy experience for Australian audiences.  We all think, if you come to our ’10 for 10′ shows, have a great night, have enough money to enjoy dinner and a few drinks and still go home with money in your pocket, there is more chance you will come back and enjoy another ’10 for 10′ show and bring your friends.

Every ’10 for 10′ show is different’ – we currently have a roster of over 30 comedians who all have multiple sets, so even if you see the same comedian twice occasionally, you will see him/her doing different material.  No two ’10 for 10′ shows are the same.
